They say that your vehicle loses at least 15% of its value as soon as you drive out of the dealership. This is how the motor market works.
Therefore, a car is hardly an investment. Unless we are talking about unique (and costly) flip or restoration projects.
However, there is a specific niche of vehicle, which only grow in price with time. Those luxury cars are the ultimate art masterpieces. Most of them are limited edition or made-by-order al all.
In this article, we shall talk about the high-end luxury vehicles and the reasons why those most expensive cars only grow in price as time goes by.
Bugatti Divo – est. price ~$6,000,000
Talking about luxurious, most expensive exclusive supercars, most of us instantly think about Bugatti. Indeed, the brand has a well-deserved reputation as a high-end car manufacturer, and therefore you will always see Bugatti vehicles in any rate of the most expensive vehicles.
By 2021, only 40 Bugatti Divos were manufactured and sold. The model is most famous and appreciated for its extra light frame, which makes it one of the fastest vehicles ever existed.
Divo has 1500 horsepower, an acceleration of just over 0-100kph (0-62mph) in 2.4 seconds. Its top speed is the hard-to-imagine 380km/h (or 236mph).
While Bugatti was focusing on Divo’s weight, the brand didn’t forget about the comfort and look, of course. The steering wheel is covered with incredibly soft faux suede; the brand chose to be cruelty-free. The signature blue and black color design of the car is reflected in the interior as well.
Bugatti Centodieci – est. price ~$9,000,000
Another Bugatti in our chart. However, Centodieci is a truly unique model. It is so exclusive and sophisticated that only 10 of them have been manufactured and sold by 2021.
With a 1577-hp quad-turbo W-16, it may not be the fastest Bugatti currently on the road, but it is definitely one of the most beautiful and comfortable vehicles that ever existed.
The Centodieci will have a top speed of 230 mph, or 375 km/h, which is still pretty breathtaking. Its design is a tribute to the aesthetics of supercars made in the 90-s and the interiors made entirely out of high-end cruelty-free materials.
Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta – est. price ~ $17,000,000
Zonda was the first model created by Pagani. Today it is one of the brand’s signature products that come in different variations.
The name Barchetta can be translated from Italian as “like a boat.” Indeed, this vehicle seems to float over the road without even touching it.
Barchetta’s body is entirely made out of carbon fiber to make it as light and fast as possible. Its acceleration is 0-60mph or 0-100kph in 3.4 seconds. The Zonda HP Barchetta can reach a top speed of 355kph or 220 mph.
Along with being one of the most expensive cars in the world, Barchetta is also the hardest one to get, even if you have an extra $17,000,000. Only 3 vehicles have been manufactured by the order until now.
1963 Ferrari 250 GTO – est. price ~$70,000,000
While all the previous models are modern and sold in 2021, we shall have to go back in time if you are interested in the most expensive cars in the world.
The champion of Tour de France 1964, Ferrari 250 GTO, went into history for its incredible top speed of 174 miles per hour and acceleration of 0-100kph (0-60mph) in 6.1 seconds. It made this car the fastest and the most expensive vehicle back in the ’60s. And although there are much faster vehicles today, nobody dares to beat its $70,000,000 price tag until now.
